Marte presented a complete report to the NORCECA Congress

 

ORANJESTAD, Aruba, October 27, 2007.- The President of NORCECA presented the NORCECA Congress with a complete report of his activities during the past two years.

 

Mr. Cristobal Marte informed the assembly about every competition in both genders held at the different levels by the Confederation, including also a report on the two Youth World Championships in Baja California, Mexico in 2007.

 

He also reported on the participation and results of teams from NORCECA at the 2007 World Championships and at the World League and World Grand Prix in 2006-07.

 

Mr. Marte reported about his participation in the annual meetings of NORCECA, the Executive Committee and Board of Administration of FIVB in Acapulco, Mexico and Lausanne, Switzerland, and the FIVB World Congress held in Tokyo, Japan last year.

 

The President of NORCECA also reported on the Beach Volleyball Circuit held in four countries this year, which was a qualifier to the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
